Set up my portfolio
On ISD UP your portfolio is now a personal blog with little limitation.

Step 1 | After you sign in, select My Page from the main menu.

Step 2 | Find the box called My blog in you profile and clic on "Add a blogPost".

Step 3 | Clic on the icon called "Add an Image" then select the first picture of you portfolio on your computer.

Step 4 | You now see the code of you picture. You can add a description underneath and add a title in the textbox called "Post Title".

That's pretty much it.Your first project is now visible under your profile.

Updated portfolios are visible on the Left part of the main page.

Change My Page layout
Each element in your "My Page" profile is movable by simple drag and drop.

Step 1 | Just move the pointer on an element header

Step 2 | Move this element to the desired area. We recommend to move your portfolio / blog to the top.

Join a group
Find and join the group of your specialty and graduation year.
3 types of group - Industrial Designers - Transportation Designers - Digital Designers.

Step 1 | In the main menu select Members. Choose you specialty, ID, Transport or Digital.

Step 2 | Find the year you graduate(d)

Step 3 | Clic on join group link.

Change my privacy settings

Step 1 | From any page, clic on settings link.

Step 2 | Clic on Privacy link

Step 3 | You now can adjust your privacy settings. We recommend to keep then as open as possible.

Invite Friends to join ISD UP
The success of ISD UP as a communication tool depends mainly on the size of the community, we strongly encourage you to invite as many people related to ISD as you know.

Select Invite from the main menu.
2 options:
- You can automaticaly import contacts from you email box (recommended)
- Or directly enter email adresses of your contacts

What's UPfront?
Upfront is the main blog on ISD UP, It displays general announcements, monthly designers profiles and interesting stories or projects that you submit to us.

What kind of pictures, photos and videos can I upload to ISD UP?
You're free to upload any type of pictures or photos to your personnal profile as long as you are the original author. We recommend that you upload only pictures related to design projects, design or ISD. We will only validate graduation videos to be uploaded.

Should I use my real complete name in my profile?
The purpose of ISD UP is to facilitate communication between students, alumni, professionals and media. Therefore we Strongly recommend to use your complete name in your profile as well as your photo portrait as profile picture.

Can I communicate in other languages that english?
To pursue the goal of facilitating communication on the Internet, the website is now only in english. You're of course free to use any other language, just remember that you reduce the ammount of people able to understand you.
